Rental Terms Summary

The Milwaukie Community Center can be rented to individuals or organizations subject to availability. Preference is given to extended term renters.


Extended term renters (who sign a contract for regular use for a period of six months or longer) MAY RECEIVE A CONSIDERABLY DISCOUNTED RATE. For more information, email Milwaukie Community Center Information or call 503-654-4503 and leave a message.


New rates for all rentals starting January 1, 2013

Rental COSTS (Six hour minimum time, with half hour setup and half hour cleanup)  A fully refundable deposit will be added to your rental fee (see below)

The rental fees below apply for SATURDAYS AFTER 5:00 P.M. Use of alcohol adds $100 to the rental fee

  • Entire building:  $700

  • Just the BALLROM (includes access to basement restrooms) $450

  • Just the LOWER LEVEL (includes the kitchen) $350

Refundable DEPOSITS and conditions for ALCOHOL USE

Rental CONDITIONS:

  1. No illegal drugs inside the building or on the grounds.

  2. No smoking or tobacco products

  3. No drinks or refreshments in the ballroom

  4. All functions shall be ended by 12:30 a.m. unless written permission is obtained in advance

  5. Material cannot be removed from the walls, windows or floors unless written permission is given in advance by the building manager. Nails cannot be used.  Nothing can be pinned or tacked to the ballroom burlap wall panels.

  6. Decorations cannot be hung from the ceiling unless written permission is given in advance by the building manager.  Tape cannot be applied to the ceiling.

  7. Cancellation prior to 30 days before use date shall include a full refund of both rent and cleaning deposit. After that, only the cleaning deposit shall be refunded.

  8. Rental does not include the furnishing of sound equipment, linens, dishes, silverware, small appliances, or kitchen paper products.

  9. Decorations and garbage must be cared as rental manager instructs.  Failure shall reduce the amount of your refundable deposit.

  10. Renters shall make no unlawful, improper, or offensive use of the premises.

  11. Maximum occupancy shall not exceed limits posted inside the building by the Fire Marshall.
